Dumaguete Travel Blog
Rizal Boulevard located in Dumaguete is named after Dr Jose Rizal, a man who is considered a national icon in the Philippines. Rizal Boulevard holds a big part of the city’s small town charm and has become a very popular landmark. Dr. Rizal was eventually killed by the Spanish because of his beliefs that the Philippines should be independent.
Dumaguete is situated in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines. It is the capital and most populous city of the province of Negros Oriental. The city is nicknamed The City of Gentle People.
In this travel blog episode me and my girlfriend are exploring the various tourist spot such as Belfry Tower, St Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral and the Bell Church
Siquijor Day Tour
Upon leaving Dumaguete we are first heading for a day trip to Siquijor island to visit Joyce`s relatives.
The day after our Siquijor trip we go on a boat & bus ride to Oslob, where we are checking in at Germaroze hotel. Oslob is famous for whale shark watching and is located at the west south side of Cebu.
Germaroze turns out to be a very unprofessional hotel, whereas the staff barely speak English. To make it even worse they do not have rooms available as they have promised us. We decide that even so, we are staying so we try the their restaurant, the Germs Restaurant, which only serves Germs.
Before all of this happened, while we were still in Dumaguete, I rescue a stray goat. #HeroOfTheDay #GoatRescue !
Dumaguete Dance Crew
All respect to the DANCING KING in the original video. Nobody can ever beat him as he is the Emperor within dancing. This video is my funny parody of "Mention someone who can beat this dance" and I challenge you not to laugh, or at least try !
