WTF is Janteloven!?
The mentality of Norwegians can be hard to understand. Especially in smaller cities this hard to understand mentality is present. It is the mentality dictated by the Jante Law.
This quite SHOCKING norwegian law that dictates the mentality of near all Norwegians. Finally revealed. It`s name is the Law of Jante.
There are ten rules in the law as defined by Sandemose, all expressive of variations on a single theme and usually referred to as a homogeneous unit: You are not to think you're anyone special or that you're better than us.
The ten rules state:
You're not to think you are anything special.
You're not to think you are as good as we are.
You're not to think you are smarter than we are.
You're not to imagine yourself better than we are.
You're not to think you know more than we do.
You're not to think you are more important than we are.
You're not to think you are good at anything.
You're not to laugh at us.
You're not to think anyone cares about you.
You're not to think you can teach us anything.
These ten principles or commandments form a "Jante Shield" over the Scandinavian people. A shield that inhibits most of them from expressing warmth, being good and being genuine.
Janteloven is a sad and disgusting part of Norwegian culture, that most norwegians love to hate. The irony is that most norwegians who proclaim to "hate janteloven" usually follows it.
Janteloven is further on strengthened by other social constructs, such as socialism, which is the way of government in Norway.
The Law of Jante should be viewed for what it is; Toxic Mental Garbage.
Likewise Socialism should be viewed for what it is; a Mental Disease
It has been lovely seeing my mom again. However I am starting to get tired about this place, Sandnes & Stavanger. There just is too much Jantelov here!
"Change is the only constant in the universe"
This quote has taught me to never fear change. Change can be scary, but the only thing more scary than change is regret.

Back in January 2017 I was very optimistic about my company. Now I am starting to feel more exhausted about it. The joy is gone. Chasing client has become pressure rather than fun. As you guys know, freedom is super important for me. This pressure I am feeling further on causes stress, and I do not perform my best under stress.
On the bright side my trading activities in the market is going great. I am literally making a killing! Ok... maybe not a killing, but I am gaining!
The lowest kind of all people are those who ask other people to work for them, for free. My giveaway is finished, the giveaway which Goal Mapping Norway was a sponsor for. They promised the winner a 1 hour session of life coaching.
What happens is that the sponsor starts requesting and almost demanding that I work for free for them. Which is of course completely unacceptable for me. I dot not work for free, for anyone, unless I offer it!
I teach Goal Mapping Norway and their manager a lesson: don`t f*** with youtubers, we film our life. When you try to f*** us over, you will get exposed.
I discover Ayurveda and find out that I have been eating wrong my whole life! My body and digestion feels way improved after starting the diet.
I also face a really hard choice, it`s a choice that has been looming for some time now, which is that I don`t really enjoy working with my company anymore. It feels more like duty than pleasure. I basically have lost the passion, and I even question myself, did I ever have passion for what I am selling?
I decide enough is enough;
a CHOICE must be made!
